Granddaughter of Bob Marley visits Pikin Slee Suriname

From Pinnacle to Pikin Slee. Donisha Prendergast visits the Rastafari Museum in Pikin Slee in Suriname. In Pinnacle, the cradle of the Rastafari Movement they want to build a museum to preserve the heritage of a people who guided by Loenatd Percival Howell, aka the first Rasta lived free and economical self-sufficient in a era of colonialism and economical exploitation. Donisha did find inspiration in the Saamaka Museum deep in the interior of Suriname where traditional subjects of the Maroons are preserved in a combination of modern woodcraft, produced by the members of Totomboti. But she found more than that, she found herself a new spiritual family. She even met the president of Suriname Desi Bouterse with whom she spoke openly about the legalisation of ganja.
