How to color dreadlocks with henna pt.3

Applying henna to dreadlocks. Follow instructions for each henna powder manufacturer. DO NOT use metal bowls or spoons for mixing henna. Obviously I was not thinking about the foil I used to section out my dreads :{ Metal will react with the henna and dull the color and cause the hair to become darker.. After Henning my hair twice since this video I have noticed how my hair around the area previously in contact with the foil reacts differently than the rest.. I now use plastic Ziploc bags to protect my dreads from being colored. . And at the same time I apply a natural lighter mixed from household products; baking soda and hydrogen peroxide and a half of fresh lemon juice. .apply to small thin sections for best even lift.. any questions leave in comments below*nThanks for watching ♡nnInstagram: melissa.officinalis
