Dyeing Your Dreadlocks

For my next dreadlock q&a, I wanted to talk about dreadlocks and hair dye. I’ve been wanting to take my locs back to the basics, or “back to black.” I went to my friend Kimi Lei to help me out. She originally did the ombre on my hair back in October of 2014. The process overall takes about an hour to and hour-and-a-half tops. I would definitely recommend having someone else dye your locs for you. You can do it on your own if you have experience with dyes and know the chemistry of what’s already in your hair (if it’s been dyed, bleached, treated) and what you are putting on your hair.

Thank you to all my awesome subscribers! I reached 100!
